Richmond Auctions presents the Spring 2025 Premier Three-Day Advertising Auction on March 20-22, 2025 featuring the third installment of The Jay Barkheimer Collection and an offering from the Thornton & Pam Beroth Pilot Mountain Collection. This multi-day sale features an incredible assortment of Petroliana, Automobilia, Soda, Country Store and Farming advertising memorabilia. The auction contains over 1600 lots consisting of neon signs, porcelain signs, tin signs, advertising displays, gas pumps, gas pump globes, clocks, and oil cans.

The Jay Barkheimer Collection, Part 3 – Considered one of the most substantial and diverse advertising collections ever to come to market, the Jay Barkheimer Collection showcases rare, high-condition items spanning multiple genres, including gas & oil, soda, automobilia, country store, and farming/agriculture. Jay meticulously displayed these items with a keen eye for visual aesthetics, ensuring a "wow" factor for anyone fortunate enough to view them in person. This sale marks the third and final offering of the legendary Jay Barkheimer Collection by Richmond Auctions.

The Thornton & Pam Beroth Pilot Mountain Collection – Thornton Beroth amassed one of the largest gas and oil advertising collections in the United States, a passion that came naturally through his family’s business as an oil distributor with multiple gas stations across North Carolina. The Beroth Collection was displayed in a charming two-story, converted bank building in downtown Pilot Mountain, where Thornton and Pam regularly gave tours to both locals and visitors. Gas and oil memorabilia filled every wall, room, and corner, offering a unique glimpse into the history of Petroliana. Richmond Auctions is thrilled to offer items from this incredible and historic collection.
