Extremely rare double sided porcelain (DSP) Smith-O-Lene Gasolilne Aviation Brand sign. Mounted in original metal ring. Circa 1940's. Excellent gloss and color. Tiny flea bite chip below the "V" and one in outer field. Reverse field is clean, outer field has a small chip between the "G" & "S" with chip at top edge. Smith-o-lene was a regional marketer out of Texarkana, servicing Texas and Arkansas. 48" diameter. Rated 8.9 & 9 by The Authentication Company (TAC #005834).
