Newort one piece etched �Canopy� globe. Newport Oil Company, Newport, Rhode Island, circa 1920s. Rare one piece etched Newport �Canopy� globe that hung from a gas station�s overhang as opposed to pumps. Any �Canopy� globe is very hard to find as most stations never used these. Original orange and dark green paint but sides very nice. Information sourced from "Gas Pump Globes" by Scott Benjamin & Wayne Henderson. Lighted base not included with purchase.
