Purol Gasoline 15� �Cast� metal frame gas globe. Pure Oil Company, Tulsa, Oklahoma, circa 1920s or 1970s. Excellent both sides original patina red high profile metal frame. This is a �cast� thick insert globe which few companies ever used. Cast means the words and image are deeply cast into the milk glass. They are early and were originally made at the Rodifer Gleason Glass Company in West Virginia. In the 1970s, about 15-20 were remade at the original glass company, using the same mold, glass and process so it�s impossible to tell the exact dates of this globe.
