Circa 1930's, Mohawk Oil Co., Bakersfield, CA, Multiple Gasoline Grades. Both lenses of this orange variation have excellent color and have been caulked in place at 12, 3, and 9 o'clock. The display lens has very minor surface wear and tiny spots of paint loss along the outer white perimeter edge that are barely noticeable. The reverse has a few more scratches. There are also tiny areas of paint loss along the white perimeter edge with slightly more at 6 o'clock. The paint loss would not be visible if a snap ring was used to hold the lenses in place. The lenses are mounted in a high profile metal body. This is an outstanding example of this iconic gas globe. Condition: 9. Measurements (H" x L" x W"): 19 x 17.5 x 6.
