Incredible single sided porcelain (SSP) neon sign has good color and gloss. This is one of the most amazing dealership neons Richmond Auctions has ever sold, and is an example that we have never seen before until its recent discovery on a farm in Mississippi. This is one half of the only known vertical GMC Trucks sign like this. It shows some wear, discoloration and some cloudiness throughout. There are some minor scratches and chips throughout the sign. Mounted on the original metal can with a new sheet of metal, that has been aged to match the patina of the can, enclosing the back along with new glass and transformers. It displays extremely well and has an amazing art deco design. Marked Mississippi Neon at the bottom. This is an extremely rare GMC Trucks sign and would be a center piece for a GM or any dealership collection. Condition: 7.75. Measurements (H" x L"): 179 x 83.5.
