Description
SSP (single sided porcelain) 2-piece sign with cookie cutter edge has excellent color and gloss. The sign features the 49th Armored Division Insignia with tank graphics in the upper field with "Lone Star" sign in the lower field. The field has light surface wear and minor nicks. The perimeters of the signs have minor edge bends with areas of chipping which is concentrated along the upper edge of the Lone Star sign. Marked T-56. The 49th was nicknamed the "Lone Star" and was an armored division of the Texas National Guard during the Cold War. Overall a unique historically significant sign from the great state of Texas. 38" H x 36" W. Condition: 8.5.
