Description
Exceedingly rare DSP (double sided porcelain) sign has excellent color and gloss. The display has a clean field with an area of discoloration and slightly lower gloss on the lower edge of the "E" in Pure. The perimeter has a few minor edge chips with discoloration at the 5 o'clock edge. The reverse has light surface wear in the field with minimal factory imperfections. Both factory grommets are intact. Marked Burdick, Chi. This is the first example of this sign we have sold. All in all a superb 25.5" Pure Oil Company sign. 25.5" H. Condition: 9.
