Description
Exceedingly rare die cut SSP (single sided porcelain) 2-piece five color neon sign with metal can has outstanding color and gloss. The sign would have originally been displayed atop the upper facade of a Wasatch Service Station. The left portion of the sign with Native American graphic features numerous colors of porcelain enamel. This side exhibits areas of professional restoration with applied clear coat to further enhance the appearance of the sign. The right hand head dress has been recreated to mimic the original design. This sign is one of very few known surviving examples. Overall an amazing historically significant sign from the Wasatch Oil Company, Salt Lake City, Utah. 50" H x 117.75" W x 8.5" D.
