SSP (single sided porcelain) five piece signs mounted on the original frame with brass trim have excellent color and gloss. The sign features a curved center mount sign with die-cut signs to each side and reverse. The curved sign has a large chip in the upper field with chips along the edges. The signs to each side are clean. The signs on the reverse have clean fields with one having edge chips. The brass trim ring shows general age related wear. The signs feature key locations such as San Francisco, Pasadena, San Diego, Phoenix, Grand Canyon, and many others. Overall a historically significant porcelain road sign that is exceedingly rare. This is the only Automobile Club of California sign like this we have seen. This is an outstanding example. 28" H x 49.5" W x 6" D. Condition: 8.5+.
