Description
SSP (single sided porcelain) die cut sign has very good color and gloss. This sign would have originally been displayed under the "Dixie Vim" ID Sign with Tank Car and Automobile. The field exhibits light wear with areas of slight discoloration and crazing on the lower edge of the "R" in Stores. The perimeter has small chips with discoloration and errant paint at mount holes and edges. Marked Baltimore Enamel, 200 Fifth Ave. N.Y. Overall a scarce sign with unique "sawblade' edges. This is the only example of this sign we have seen. 7.5" H x 52.5" W. Condition: 8.5+.
