Description
Impressive OPE (one-piece etched) milk glass chimney cap globe has good color. The display features original paint "Filtered Gasoline" lettering with repainted blue lettering in the outer fields. The field is clean with minor wear to the lettering. The perimeter has discoloration at the top and lower edges. The reverse has additional wear to the red painted lettering. The chimney cap has oxidation and the lower base has light base wear with soiling. Overall a unique early chimney cap globe we have not seen before. 13.5" H. Condition: 8.75/8.5.
