Outstanding SSP (single sided porcelain) sign with added wooden frame has amazing color and gloss. The sign features heavy shelving, vivid colors and iconic "Mountie" graphics. The field is very clean overall with surface scratches which are mainly present in the lower fields' The perimeter has light wear at the mounting holes with minor edge wear. The wooden frame is in very good condition. Marked The W.F. Vilas Co. The sign would grade in the 9.25+ range if the scratches were not present in the lower fields. Overall an amazing Goodrich Mountie sign which is likely one of the best known examples. 58" H x 22" W. Condition: 9.
