Fantastic DS internally lighted 28.5" D glass lenses with metal can and early ruby red neon sign has exceptional color. The internal lighted portion and external neon both work as they should. The display has a clean glass lens with light age related wear to the visible metal surround. The reverse is in a very similar condition with minor imperfection in the lower left field. The metal can features original paint with factory Biltmore Electric Signs Lima, Ohio, manufacturer tag on the side. The upper portion of the can retains the original ornate hanging brackets which have been repainted. Overall an extremely scarce historically significant Silver Gas service station neon sign. 34" H x 34" W x 12" D. Condition: 9.25/9.0.
