Description
This is a very early example that we have not seen, most likely 1930's or earlier. DSP (double sided porcelain) multi-piece embossed neon signs mounted back to back on the original metal can with factory bullnose have excellent color and gloss. The display field is exceptionally clean with minor discoloration at the neon support stands and a small flake on the "S". The perimeter has a handful of tiny edge chips. The reverse is very similar to the display with slightly more discoloration at the neon supports. The bullnose has small chips along the outer edges and the factory can retains the original paint with areas of oxidation. Overall a fantastic Studebaker sign with heavy porcelain enamel shelving and bold neon colors. 24.75" H x 134" W x 17" D. Condition: 9.25+/9.0+.
