Description
Impressive SSP (single sided porcelain) thermometer has very good color and gloss. The tube is intact and appears to work as it should. The field is very clean overall with wear at the tube opening and small chips in the lower fields. The red porcelain enamel has faded somewhat to a pink color and the white has slight discoloration. The factory wooden frame and tube holder are both original and in very good condition. Marked Pa. Mar. 16, 1915. Overall a tough to find early thermometer with outstanding graphics. 72.5" H x 16.75" W. Condition: 8.25.
