Description
SST (single sided tin) lithograph sign with cardboard reverse has good color and shine. The sign has detailed graphics of two young men using the Stewart clipping machine trimming a horse. The field has light wear with discoloration in the upper lettering and fine scratches in the outer fields. The perimeter has 2.5 x 1.25 inch area of restoration where the sign had been trimmed. The black outer edges have non-factory mount holes, small bends and fine scratches. The cardboard backing has general wear and the hanging string has been replaced. The sign is marked R. Veenfliet American Art Works, Coshocton, O. Overall a unique early tin sign with outstanding graphics. 14.25" H x 17.75" W. Condition: 7.
